mention Wumpscut, once I get my nerve back after _Embryodead_-- which will
have to eventually go on the "B-List", with a warning about lyrics . . . .]

"The best tracks from the best releases from the best groups in the best
orders! (YRMV)"
SNIP<
X-Marks the Pedwalk/ Abattoir (the Collection) (1995)(Cleopatra)/
"Dependence", "Solitude", "Helpless (Depressed mix)", "Danger" and
"Abortion" (22:26)
SNIP<
I loved these tracks. I tried this block (Solitude-Helpless-Danger-
Abortion-Dependence). Dependence weirdly feels a little like Phil
Collins' In the Air Tonight. The opener on Solitude reminds me of
another track, I think it was Noxious Emotion or VAC where the sample
is sort of "It felt like my heart was being touched by Christ" which I
think was from Altered States or some kind of movie with
hallucinogenics being tested on schizophrenics. The lyrics kind of
sucked but then they grew on me! Helpless has a solid rythym going.
Great sample(s) on Danger, reminds me that I read somewhere that
Skinny Puppy was influenced early on by working for a horror movie
outlet/theater somewhere. Can't wait to check them out further. I
really had not listened closely to them before so thanks for the X-
Marks nod. =-bbuuzz

Yeah, that was my original block off the album, for years, and starts out
relatively polished and soft and rhythmic (the first three) and ends up
practically percussing yer head off (the last two).

I just this last year or so came to like the expanded block.

The hardest XMtP release by far; _Drawback_ I think is the best all around.
