Just to let you know...Tuck and Patti are releasing a new album in the
US and it's pretty cool. They're doing a compilation album, taking
songs from a variety of different genres (including a Japanese hit
love song) and "jazzifying" them up. If you've never heard these guys,
you've got to pick-up one of their albums. Tuck's an excellent
guitarist (he's written several articles on the subject, which you can
find at this website) and Patti's voice is very seductive. I highly
recommend it.

Tuck & Patti Press Release
A Gift of Love

San Francisco, CA- Tuck & Patti, the voice-and-guitar duo, have
released their new album, A Gift Of Love, on T&P Records/33rd Street
Records. The album, which was originally produced as a special
project for Asia, was met with such an enthusiastic response from
European and American fans that they decided to release the CD
worldwide, with an American release on July 20, 2004.

The duo's tenth album features some of pop music's greatest love
songs. As a special treat, four of the tracks include accompaniment
from San Francisco keyboardist/arranger Frank Martin and cellist
Joseph Hébert.

Tuck & Patti joined forces in 1978 and have been thrilling audiences
worldwide with their unique approach to jazz, pop, rhythm and blues,
gospel, folk, rock and Brazilian genres. Since their Windham Hill
debut, Tears Of Joy (1988), the duo has garnered numerous awards,
including the prestigious Dutch Edison Award for the best
international jazz album of 1999, presented to them at the North Sea
Jazz Festival.
