With regard to the links you provided, I'm don't know what to say.
(Why is it that Goth's are inherently lawbreakers?)
I heard of such nonesense, but never actually believed it. Or thought
it to be unfounded slandering of the Bush administration.

Now I'm suddenly very glad that I'm sitting in Europe, wearing black
clothes, married my wife in black, and that one of my friends probably
one day will marry his gay partner without anyone raising an eyebrow.

The funny thing is, that all the Americans I know, both from beeing
abroad, and from friends of friends, are great guys, and would never
go to these extremes (apart from slight homofobic streaks :-).
I guess If you shout long and high enough and take on a religious
attitude, anything is possible "over there".
