I used to own an akai s900 and am looking to buy a sampler. Should I stick with another s900 or are there more pragmatic options nowadays (i.e. that don't require 1.44" diskettes). Sad to say but I was never very tech savvy when I was making music ... is there anything kicking around that would get me the same grainy quality of a s900 that doesn't use floppy disks?

Nevermind ... that was a bit near-sightd of me ... i'll check a music shop and see what they have to say... don't bother responding unless you know of a newer model of sampler that mimics the akai s900.
