Dear brothers and sisters,

The annual Tinitus festival is again held at the praised venue
Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm City, and presents 8 major live acts on
two stages, two dance floors hosted by Scandinavia's best djs, and of
course; 4 fully licensed bars to drench your thirst, at relatively
good prices.

We proudly present:

TINITUS FESTIVAL 2003

NOVEMBER 15 1800-0500

MÜNCHENBRYGGERIET STOCKHOLM

8 LIVE ACTS ON TWO STAGES, 2 DANCE FLOORS, 4 BARS

LIVE ON STAGE:

DAF
Being one of the main catalysts of the German punk movement in the
late 70s, in its current formation consisting of Gabi Delgado and
Robert Görl, the true pioneers of new wave and synth in the 80s.
The world saw their re-appearance in 2003, once again setting the
trend, always true to the driving force of the group, rebellion. In
its original constellation and with a new album and show, it is an
honour to present DAF live on stage.

LUSTANS LAKEJER
80s, new romantic, synthpop - Lustans Lakejer has it all. With a
dramatic touch of decadence and despair at once, these Swedish legends
started out in 1980 and released their single "Diamanter" and the rest
is Swedish music history. Johan Kinde, the bands' charismatic front
man has guided the band all the way to their latest release
"Åkersberga". Evergreens like "Rendezvous i Rio", "Vackra djur gör
fula saker", "Begärets dunkla mål" and not least "Diamanter", they
have made an immortal collection of masterpieces that all can be
tasted on the 5th annual Tinitus festival. Låt champagnen flöda!

HOCICO 10th anniversary show
This Mexican duo have remained the top notch Neo-EBM band for years
and still continues to harvest hordes new fans around the globe. They
celebrate their 10th anniversary by playing selected concerts around
Europe with a special show this fall. Of course they have to play at
the Tinitus Festival.

BOBBY
Take a 3dl of Ultravox and another 3dl Duran Duran at their happiest
days, pour it in a mixer, blend and add some sugar on top and you have
these fine, young gentlemen. Bobby delivers the 80s flair and imaging
on your television screen with their latest hit 'Losing Control'. Be
prepared to be taken by storm by these new Romantics.

FEINDFLUG
Synthpoppers beware! Feindflug blends the rhythmic mayhem of bands
like Imminent Starvation with the driving bass lines of EBM at an
incredible high pace. These 'brothers' of bands like :Wumpscut: and
Leatherstrip takes their concept both music and visually to the peak
during their live shows, executed with the highest possible
militaristic precision. This is for all you EBM freaks out there.

SONAR Feat. Dirk Ivens of DIVE and ex. KLINIK
Legendary musician Dirk Ivens, founder of Klinik and Dive returns to
Sweden after last years successful concert, now in the Sonar
constellation, together with Eric van Wonterghem. Dark, rhythmic and
ambient, Sonar has perhaps taken a wider grasp on Dirks favourite
music concept and shows that Rhythm N Noise grand daddy still rocks,
maybe harder than ever.

SPETSNAZ
Sweden's latest old school EBM export, Spetsnaz cannot be named
without naming Nitzer Ebb in the same sentence. Back to the roots,
cocky and energic, Spetsnaz' music and stage appearance reminds you of
the golden days of EBM. They released the much appreciated album Grand
Design earlier this year.

SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS
Synonym for dark electro-sound with groovy rhythms, distorted beats
and catchy melodies. Solitary Experiments' influences are the sounds
of the eighties. Melodic electronic style combined with modern
elements and harsh stomping sounds. It's Swedish premiere for these
young lads.

Ummm. . .am I missing some in joke or what. The crossposting was a little
excessive but since it doesn't generate unique article IDs not that nasty
and the post was certainly on topic for the majority of groups I see
listed.

Seems there must be better targets for your vitriol than these Swedish
folks.

Cheers

Umm, why is it spam ? It seems perfectly on topic for U.P.G at least, and
I cant see it being particularly off-topic for any oof the other groups
listed given the nature of the bands playing, and the fact that people
do actually go to these events. Indeed I read through it as I though "hey,
a festival that might be worth going to"
