The nomination left the sevcom camp feeling a bit apprehensive ..
And now, 12 hours before the awards show, the news is out .. SEVERED HEADS
have been awarded Best Original Soundtrack for the 2005 ARIA Fine Arts
awards.

SEVERED HEADS has been DIY and Independent since the 'indie' labels they
originally signed with in the 1980s were absorbed by SONY .. they faught
for years over the rights to their own back catalogue (and eventually
won).

The last I heard from Tom, the record label that released the IFD
soundtrack in Oz went belly-up. Here's hoping someone picked it back up.
Better yet, here's hoping someone on this side of the pond releases it so
I can watch/listen to the enclosed DVD as well as enjoy the album.
