Why is a bootleg recording of a gig so much better than a recording
straight off the desk? A minidisc player with a mic just sounds so
much more authentic.
It just seems to sound more alive, and of course hearing my mate Carl
shouting, "Play something less ghey!" Was brilliant. Also the set ends
with the classic, "What a load of shite!" from mofette.
So here is a bootleg recording of the gig on the 15th complete with 2
mins of a reboot at the start, people talking and all the bloody
mistakes.

Keef Baker Live at The George, Leeds (bootleg recording) On 15th Dec
2004
Be warned it's a 25 meg download.
Ok, so this shows that while I was right to feel it could have gone
better, I was also wrong to think it was as bad as I did, as it's
still not too bad.
